The original layout of this 1920s apartment didn’t suite the needs of the clients, a couple of lawyer in the mid 30s and the 2 young children, due to the presence of 1 bathroom, no pantry/laundry and a separated kitchen. The project, that keeps the character of the building, with trims on walls and wooden floor, redesign the layout creating 2 bathrooms, an open space living room with kitchen, a pantry and a laundry.
Neutral colors and modern furniture, together with “terrazzo Floor tiles” and ducted HVAC system create a nice blend of modern and heritage.
